It is my belief that learning can only happen when the student feels both comfortable and understood. I work as a writer, where my primary focus is in understanding what a characters motivations are. I take this same approach when working with students, trying to see things how they understand them. This helps me to teach them in a way that is going to truly benefit them. Most students have the ability to always do better. However, I feel that many don't reach his or her full potential because he or she has not been taught in the manner that makes sense for the individual. And this is where I come in. To help students learn new subjects in a way that makes sense to them. I currently reside in the city of Davenport, Florida and can tutor students in the topics of reading, writing, essay writing and editing, phonics, literature, grammar and mechanics, college essay writing and editing, American history, AP United Stats History, public speaking, religious studies, AP United States government and politics, social studies, art, and English. In my spare time I enjoy writing and watching television shows as well as horror movies.
